微核(micronucleus，簡稱MCN)是真核生物細胞中的一種異常結(jié)構(gòu)，是由有絲分裂后期喪失著絲粒的染色體片斷游離于細胞質(zhì)中產(chǎn)生的。細胞受遺傳毒物作用形成微核，以檢測細胞中微核的形成來檢測物質(zhì)遺傳毒性的試驗稱為微核試驗。目前，微核試驗已被許多國家及機構(gòu)納入標準檢測試驗，用于評價新藥、食品添加劑、農(nóng)藥、化妝品、工業(yè)化學品、環(huán)境污染物等遺傳毒性的檢測、安全性評價和遺傳損害的檢測。

體外流式微核分析，讓該過程變得更加簡單、快捷、可靠，并可獲得更豐富的信息。

流式細胞術(shù)是檢測微核的新興技術(shù)平臺。相比于傳統(tǒng)的顯微鏡下計數(shù)微核的方法，流式細胞技術(shù)的檢測優(yōu)勢在于：高速高通量，多細胞多參數(shù)，高特異性，多信息。
