測試簡介
日本玩具工業已經建立了安全標準，其針對的是為14歲及以下兒童設計的玩具。雖然參與ST標識系統是自愿性的，但是目前幾乎所有的為14歲及以下兒童設計的玩具都具有ST標識
符合日本玩具協會采用的《日本玩具安全標準》的玩具和游戲器具可以在其產品的標簽上顯示ST標識。為了獲得使用ST標識的資質，制造商或者進口商需要先和玩具協會簽署一份使用ST標識的協議，然后提交用于向指定的測試機構進行安全標準符合性測試的樣品。

2 Scientific toys科學玩具
3 Handicraft toys (e.g. easy-to-build models) provided they are intended specifically for children兒童特定手工玩具 （例如,易于制作的模型）
4 Toys used in the garden (e.g. swings)花園用玩具（例如：秋千）
5 Toy sport equipment玩具運動設施
6 Aquatic toys水上玩具
7 Bath toys沐浴玩具
8 Inflatable vinyl toys intended to be used on the surface of water水面上使用的乙烯基充氣玩具

適用對象
該標準適用于14歲及以下兒童使用的玩具測試項目
a.物理機械性測試：物理機械性測試要求范圍與EN71大致相同，具體可以參考歐洲EN71標準介紹。注意：只是要求的管控范圍大致相同，具體測試細節（如拉力大小等）會有所不同，詳情可聯系Intertek的專業人士。b.燃燒性能測試：該項測試與EN71的要求大致相同，可參考歐洲EN71玩具標準的燃燒性能測試。
